This catfish weighed in at 10 pounds! |

Here's a video of John landing that big fish! |

John really wanted a picture of me with the ten pound
catfish and I didn't want to put my hand in its mouth. This was our
compromise. |

Our camp is only 12 miles from the house so we went home
and got our granddog, Spike, who loves to go fishing. |

I called his name to get him to look at the camera, which
he did ever so briefly, and you can see that he really didn't have time for
it. He was there to fish with John, not have his photograph taken by
me. His attention was quickly returned to John and fishing. |

John didn't know I was taking a video. He was
baiting the lines with chicken hearts and of course Spike would get one
every now-and-then. John told him, "I promise you, you wouldn't like
them with hooks in them. I thought it was very cute. |
