John and I enjoy living life to its fullest - together!  We do everything together and wouldn't trade a minute of for anything in the world.  Since we've been married I went on one trip with my girlfriends and while I enjoyed it thoroughly, I missed my dear husband a lot.  That's something I don't plan on doing very often.  Here's some of the pictures we've taken together and of each other.

St. Bernard Parish's first Irish, Italian, Islano parade after Katrina had devastated every single structure in it in 2005.  Refugees drove back to Chalmette for the parade and had to drive back out by night fall.

John and his friend Jackie, a retired rocket scientist, who lives near our camp.  Jackie is a master craftsman/artisan who makes gorgeous muzzleloaders.

My darling husband checking eBay.  I took this photograph in the living room where we lived in New Orleans while John worked there during 2006.  John got to like the computer so much we had to get him one of his own.

Relaxing at the farm.

Enjoying crabs and crawfish at a party celebrating Ross's graduation from high school and Sarah's graduation from college.

Ah, firewood.

This is the man that I love!

Taken at our home in New Orleans, I was showing John my new "snaffle bit" belt.  I like it!

John setting up a bee hive for me by my vegetable garden at the farm.  He spent years as a bee keeper.

Our garden has been very prolific and we've put up dozens of quarts of tomato sauce with onion, bell pepper and celery.  Canning makes for a long day, as there's many hot tedious steps, but it's always a fun, rewarding day with John.  This pot yielded over six gallons of tomato sauce this particular day.

I don't know who was enjoying this most!

John surveying the handy work he made with the Rhino blade and the tractor.  He's been clearing a lot of the land around the farm house.  He's managed to expose a pecan grove that was planted in the 1890s.  It's in the back yard and stunning!

This is a shot of me pulling up to the camp to pick up John so we could go fishing.  I've never had the opportunity to go boating until John.  I enjoy it a lot.

We were about to go deer hunting on the farm.

One of John's favorite pictures he's taken of me.  It was taken on the farm in January with the sun low in the sky.

We're one very compatible couple!
