March 4, 2007 - Walking on the farm with John....

John and I like to walk the farm to get exercise.  Of course I had my camera with me, as always.

These bulbs have been blooming in the pasture as long as John can remember

This is the natural position of this one

Artsy,  sure, but I like the picture.

The trees are starting to bud

A gum tree

We had about 80 acres of hardwoods planted.  They're so small they should call them hard-to-find woods.  Thankfully they're marked with this bright ribbon.

Just a ditch by the old railroad track

This picture is stunning full size

More pretty flowers

I like the look of the vine wrapping its way around this young tree.

This tree and its branches were eye-catching

These were actually very fuzzy

An American Robin sitting on the pasture fence

A good shot of the underside of an American Robin

This Downy Woodpecker was hard to catch.  He didn't sit still at all.

This tree is flowering at the end of the woods not far from the house

Honeysuckle on the pasture fence

A macro picture of some moss growing in the woods

Some of the vines are huge, as this one is, that is in the woods behind the house

My sweetie-honey patiently waiting for his wife to take another picture.  (This was number 172.)

Life is good!
